3 Different Ways of Mounting Electrical Boxes
nVent CADDY offers lots of different ways of mounting electrical boxes to studwall. In this episode of nVent CADDY TV, Rick shows you his three favorite methods for mounting electrical boxes:
- The first is probably the most common method for mounting boxes to studs using one of our box brackets (such as the nVent CADDY C23), and requires assembly of the box, bracket, and plaster ring before attachment to the stud.
- Rick is a big fan of using the nVent CADDY MSF clip and then appropriate far side support like our 766PM. This method is fun to install because you hammer it onto the stud with your hand.
- The third and fastest method is to use nVent CADDY All-in-One electrical assemblies – these come ready to use right out of the box, no assembly required.
Fun Fact: We took great pleasure in throwing boxes at Rick, but we didn’t get the shot the first time through, or the second time, or the third… Sorry, Rick!
